‘’I don’t want to be remembered. I want you guys to just look after each other. I want you to look after the people that are trodden on and are still down trodden.’’ These are words taken from one of the last candid interviews Kuli Roberts did with podcaster and former YFM radio personality MacG. The video has been in constant rotation since her untimely passing, last Wednesday, 9th February 2022.

The media personality who was known for her rawness and sarcasm will be laid to rest this week. Invited close friends and media will gather for a special Memorial in Celebration of the life of Nomakula ‘Kuli’ Roberts this Wednesday. The memorial will also be live-streamed.

“I need you to look after people with albinism. I want you to look after people in the LGBTI+ community. I need you to look after black people. I need you to stop insulting black people.”- Kuli Roberts

Both the Roberts and the Mboya family are deeply thankful for the immense support from across the nation over the past few days. They have planned a small intimate gathering for her send off.
